Historic Centre of Siena - Site Identity and System

In my Graphic Design Synthesis course, I was tasked with selecting a site from the United Nations World Heritage program and designing an interrelated series of projects. We were responsible for creating pieces across various areas of graphic design, including identity, logo design, typography, color schemes, publications, multilingual site signage, advertising, website design, and information design. This project showcased the diverse components that make up real-world comprehensive design initiatives.

For this semester-long project, I chose to focus on the Historic Centre of Siena. My selection was greatly personal, as I have strong family ties and cherished memories associated with this site. Despite my familiarity with the Historic Centre of Siena, I conducted thorough research to develop a visual identity system that would effectively convey the town's historical and medieval significance. Throughout the semester, I proposed numerous ideas and sketches and continuously refined my designs, incorporating valuable feedback from my classmates and professor to enhance the final outcome.
